How did it all begin?
The story behind the creation of our truffle hunting farm begins years ago when we created the Thracian Truffles brand and all the truffle gastronomic masterpieces we produce.
Despite the difficulties to impose the Bulgarian truffle on this very specific market with established world leaders, the high international evaluation of its qualities inspired us to set aside a place in a natural environment where every tourist can experience the emotion of touching this treasure hidden in the earth, to understand how valuable it is with its nutritional and healthy value, to have the opportunity to taste and feel the unique taste qualities and to have fun at the same time.
Our truffle hunting farm is built with a lot of desire and care,
exactly because of this, everyone who visits will be welcomed as a dear guest and we from the team together with our beloved truffle-seeking dogs will do our best to provide you with a different and unforgettable experience.
Truffle hunting includes:
Welcome at the beginning of the forest with an attractive train that takes tourists to the forest-truffle farm.
A short greeting and a glass of warm linden tea to welcome you from the host. Introducing the guests’ favorite truffle-seeking dogs, professionally trained and proven “professionals”.
Upon entering the forest, the truffle hunting demonstration begins. Tourists have the opportunity to witness a completely real hunt, the recitation and the work of the dogs.
After the demonstration, tourists are invited to a gourmet tasting of high-quality truffle foods, which are produced by the hosts and have their own brand “Thracian truffles”. Duration of the entire tour – 1 hour 30 minutes.
